Help a Leprosy Victim Walk Again

Biva is 13 and has a nasty ulcer on her left heel that goes right through to the bone. She can’t feel it at all because of nerve damage caused by leprosy, nor can she lift her right foot (called “foot-drop”). These special shoes help leprosy victims walk again and also protect their feet so they can take care of themselves, get food and get to work and school. A $15 pair shoes can be the difference between someone being self sufficient or plunging even deeper into poverty!
